What is Zumba?
Zumba is a fitness discipline that combines aerobic exercise with rhythmic choreography. Its creator, Alberto Perez, came up with the concept almost by accident in the 90s. He was preparing to give an aerobics class when he realized he’d forgotten the music he usually used. So he had to improvise with what was at hand, namely his own Latin music.
As the name suggests, this physical activity consists in working out as much as possible to dynamic music (Latin, Jazz, Bollywood…). Today, there are several types of Zumba to suit every need, age and level: Aquazumba, ZumbaToning, ZumbaintheCircuit, Zumbagold, Zumbatomic and more
The advantages and health benefits of Zumba
